An update from Still Motion Weddings regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

I’m writing this to all the brides and grooms who’s weddings we are videoing, photographing (or both) this year, and to any potential future bookings who are looking to use our services.

As I’m sure you all agree it’s growing ever more concerning for our industry and for all the lovely couples counting down the days to their big day.

I wanted to reassure everyone that at the moment we are fully committed to your weddings and we have no intention to postpone anyone’s dates from our side. We are taking extra precautions to try and prevent the spread of the virus and to start with we will not be visiting any homes or venues for consultations during the pandemic just as a precautionary measure and will be following any government guidelines.

I also want to reassure everyone that venue and home visits aren’t always necessary to discuss photography locations etc... and we often find that it’s best to look at this on the day of the wedding so we know what we’re dealing with in terms of weather, lighting and so on.

We are more than happy to do pre wedding consultations over the phone or via Skype / FaceTime

at any time that best suits you.

One thing we’d ask you to do is that if at any point you, the venue or anyone else decides to postpone your wedding, please let us know as soon as possible so we can try to accommodate the new date. We will try our absolute best to adjust our schedules to fit your needs. We hope it doesn’t come down to this but at the moment we can never be too sure how long this will last or what effect it will have.

We highly recommend reading this article from Elle.co.uk regarding your wedding in 2020

We are staying positive and we cannot wait to be capturing your special day soon.
